A hallmark of WPC’s acoustic architecture is its physically separate mid and HF horn assemblies, designed to maintain exceptionally stable horizontal pattern control.

Midrange Section

Using 2 × 5” neodymium drivers on a dedicated horn, the mid-section delivers:

  • High output with minimal distortion
  • Smooth reproduction of the vocal band
  • Robust 100° constant directivity across the critical midrange

The result is unmistakable: smooth, powerful, and highly intelligible vocals that carry effortlessly across vast audience areas.

High Frequency Section

The HF system uses 4 × 0.7” exit neodymium compression drivers, each feeding its own horn. Compared to a single large-format compression driver, this multi-driver approach provides:

  • Lower distortion in the most sensitive part of human hearing
  • A more open, detailed and extended top end
  • Improved summation and line-array behaviour
  • Consistency at high SPL without harshness

Together, the independent horn-loaded MF and HF sections contribute to WPC’s signature clarity, control and musicality.
