Laird brings extensive industry experience to Sonance, beginning his career as a Technology Consultant for an international Architectural & Engineering firm, specializing in Audiovisual Design. He later joined Bose Corporation, where he served as a Sales Engineer in the Professional Division. During his time at Bose, Paxson contributed significantly to the company’s success by working in the Global Marketing Group, founding the Professional Training Group, managing the Americas Sales Engineering Team, and overseeing the US Sales Team. His diverse background and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions make him a valuable asset to Sonance’s continued growth.

The various smart home technologies that we integrated at this beautiful home — from distributed audio, TV displays, and a custom theater, to integration into the lighting control and window treatments, even electronic tinting glass — all had to be under one interface that was controlled intuitively and smoothly.

We make it a goal it to compliment the vision of designers and architects, and what they are wanting to achieve, so when it came to integrating an immersive audio experience here, we chose select products from Sonance & James Loudspeaker; small aperture speakers, discreet subwoofers that can be concealed in the floor, ceiling and wall, without having large grills that just draw your eyes to them. Everything simply needed to be clean, discreet and design-centric. That was our solution.

Sonance is pleased to announce the appointment of Generation AV as the representative agency for Sonance, James Loudspeaker, and IPORT in Asia. Generation AV was founded by audio video veteran David McKinney, to serve the Asia Pacific market for the Professional & Residential Audio & Video industry.

With immediate effect, Generation AV, based in Singapore, will assume sales strategy, account management, and technical support duties for the Asian market.
