Located in the center of the Czech city of Jablonec nad Nisou, the city’s historic theatre stands as one of its most treasured cultural landmarks. Completed in 1907, the building reflects the elegance of early 20th-century Art Nouveau design and has served as a gathering place for the performing arts for more than a century. While the venue doesn’t have a resident ensemble, each season brings more than 200 visiting performances spanning drama, opera, ballet, concerts, and children’s productions. Renowned Czech companies and touring artists regularly appear here, ensuring a diverse and dynamic cultural calendar.

Beyond its programming, the theatre itself is part of the experience. The interior retains an exceptional array of original Art Nouveau decorative elements, from lighting fixtures to ornamental detailing, creating an atmosphere that transports audiences to another era.

The Cherry Lane Theatre is the oldest continuously running off-Broadway theater in New York City. The building was constructed as a farm silo in 1817, and also served as a brewery, tobacco warehouse, and box factory before being converted into a theater and christened the Cherry Lane Playhouse. First opened in 1923, the 167-seat theater has long been a home for nontraditional and experimental works.

The theater was acquired by an independent entertainment company in 2022. The new owners wanted to extensively renovate the theater with updates to the technical equipment, new seating, a newly installed film projector and screen, and an upgraded lobby. The goal was to blend Cherry Lane’s rich theatrical legacy with cutting-edge technology, offering a premier venue for both film screenings and live performances with a full-service restaurant and bar in the lobby. They contacted Francois Godfrey, President and COO at Moving iMage Technologies, to facilitate the AV upgrades.

The Hungaroring is a 2.7-mile (4.4 km) motorsport racetrack in Mogyoród, Hungary. It’s the home of Hungarian motorsport, and the Formula One Hungarian Grand Prix is held there in the middle of summer, which is usually extremely hot and dry at the time. Considered one of the best tracks in the circuit, Hungaroring includes many high/medium speed corners chained together, making following challenging, plus very few hard braking zones. The twisty and bumpy nature of the circuit makes overtaking very difficult, earning it the nickname “Monaco without the barriers.” Besides Formula One, the track has also hosted the DTM and FIA GT Championship races.

2026 heralds the track’s 40th anniversary, and the racetrack is being completely renovated in advance of the milestone. The racetrack contracted with Visual Europe Group to design and implement an all-new audio system, and they included LEA Professional amplifiers as part of the buildout.

Western A/V installed 8 Connect Series 704D-ADSP amplifiers and 2 Connect Series 1504D amplifiers. The 4-channel 704D-ADSP provides 700 watts per channel, while the 4-channel 1504D provides 1500 watts per channel. Peake installed Connect Series 354 amplifiers to power the church’s new monitors as well as existing mains. The IoT-enabled 4-channel 354 provides 350 watts per channel into 2, 4, and 8 ohms, and 70Vrms and 100Vrms. It supports Hi-Z (70V or 100V) and Lo-Z selectable by channel and features Smart Power Bridge technology. The integrated 96kHz DSP effectively eliminated the need for unnecessary equipment in the rack, ensuring the overall job cost was kept to a minimum.

DSP Innovative Solutions installed Connect Series 704D amplifiers and Connect Series 168D amplifiers to power the stadium’s loudspeakers. The IoT-enabled 4-channel 704D provides 700 watts per channel, while the 8-channel 168D offers 160 watts per channel. Both models support Hi-Z (70V or 100V) and Lo-Z, selectable by channel, and feature Smart Power Bridge technology. Dante-enabled models like the 704D and 168D include 96kHz-capable Dante and AES67 connectivity options, plus Dante simplifies system installation with scalable, high-resolution audio over IP (AoIP).  

Shayne Ettienne, owner of The Audio Visual Group, designed and installed the audio system and knew that LEA amplifiers would be perfect to power the large room. “We love LEA amplifiers. They’re so powerful, and also literally a DSP that has amp features in it,” said Ettienne. “Because of its flexibility and the fact that we can control it without needing an external DSP, we’ve been using them in all kinds of scenarios. For Builders Capital, the combination of management tools, physical size, and quiet fan operation made them a perfect fit for the installation.”

The Audio Visual Group deployed Connect Series 354 amplifiers to power the training room’s 12 coaxial pendant loudspeakers. The IoT-enabled 4-channel CS354 provides 350 watts per channel, supports Hi-Z (70V or 100V) and Lo-Z selectable by channel, and features Smart Power Bridge technology. Connect Series also includes 96kHz DSP, which is standard in all models and offers a range of benefits that significantly enhance audio performance and system versatility. Presets in the Crestron control system were used to switch the room between training and conferencing setups, which was made possible by LEA’s open API and the Crestron LEA Plugin. Elements of the amplifier can be monitored and adjusted via the API, allowing customers to integrate the Connect Series amplifiers with 3rd party equipment to create almost limitless, custom AV solutions.

S&L installed two FlatPanel DML500 loudspeakers in the lobby. Their 165-degree conical coverage and unique sound waves transparently deliver LEA’s exceptionally pristine signal path. Unlike conventional loudspeakers that degrade intelligibility in highly reverberant spaces, DML loudspeakers ignore the center’s beautiful but sound-compromising windows and shiny floors. Paired with a FlatPanel LS118 subwoofer specifically designed to complement the DML500s, the power for both highs and lows provided by the LEA amplifier yields a significant sound quality improvement over the former sound system, according to the center’s employees.

S&L used the LEA Connect Series 1504D to power the loudspeakers and subwoofer. The Dante-enabled 4-channel 1504D provides 1500 watts per channel into 2, 4, and 8 ohms, and 70Vrms and 100Vrms. It also supports Hi-Z (70V or 100V) and Lo-Z selectable by channel and features Smart Power Bridge technology. S&L’s team doubled the output on one amplifier channel to power the subwoofer while two channels fed the left and right loudspeakers.
